Turntable Kitchen is a website connecting food and music, born in a foggy Inner Sunset, San Francisco apartment. They feature recipes with a focus on local, fresh ingredients, hand-selected ‘Musical Pairings,’ album reviews and musings on the city livin’ and country hoppin’ adventures. Most importantly, they aim to introduce food lovers to music and vice versa.
What got me interested was the launch of the Turntable Kitchen Pairings Box, a food and music experience delivered to your mailbox on a monthly basis.
Every month, you’ll receive a hand-assembled box of goodies to create a unique food and music pairing of your own. In each box you’ll find:
I’m not a cook! I’m just not good at it and that’s probably why I don’t like it. I do like to throw dinner parties because I love to create an atmosphere where the food, design and table dressing all come together. This concept fits perfect with that. You experience every month new food, herbs, recipes and new cooking techniques. The fun part for me is that the music will bring you in the mood of the food and creates the atmosphere what makes the food even taste better.
Lovely monthly idea to do with you lover or with a group of friends!
